Out of Gas on Lovers Leap

About the Show

Flaming Pants Theatre presents Out of Gas on Lovers Leap, a provocative look at the lives of two well-to-do rebels contemplating life’s decisions and what the rest of the 80s and 90s will bring them.

Mystery is the daughter of an aging rock star while Grouper is the son of an image-conscious U.S. Senator. On the night of their graduation in June of 1985, they drive to the local look-out point for a celebration all their own. Through the evening and deep into the night Mystery and Grouper reveal sides of themselves and their lives where no amount of money or privilege could ever have protected them.

Written by Mark St. Germain, and brought back to the stage by director Keri Seymour, founder of Flaming Pants Theatre, the script continues to challenge the actors and audience alike.

Contains adult language, smoking, & drug and alcohol use.
