One Big Happy Family

The Sackett Group presents the world premiere of One Big Happy Family, written and directed by Joe Costanza. The play is a dramedy — some fact, some fiction, some fantasy — loosely based on the playwright’s own familial experiences. Set in Queens, N.Y. in 1979, the Cavatellis, a most colorful and richly textured dysfunctional family of all talkers and no listeners, are zipping along nicely in their dysfunction when they are challenged with a life changing event.
