Notice of Default… is writer/performer John Clancy’s one-man, real-life, comic, questioning journey inspired by the recent legal dispute and intense fundraising campaign unleashed by the arrival of a notice from the Present Company’s landlord regarding their 7,500 square foot performance space, The Theatorium. This production offers a hilarious and revealing insider’s account of the life of a downtown artist and the absurdities of putting a price on anything, let alone a work of art.
