Chris Burns directs his own piece, My Mother’s a Baby Boy, at the Kraine Theater. Modern cacophony being what it is, does anyone actually hear what you say? In an age of verbal density and endless chitchat, people rarely get the gist of what is being said. The play examines three modern urban relationship–platonic, paternal, and romantic–while illustrating the fascinating (but frustrating) ability to talk without ever truly communicating.
