About This Show

As Written Productions presents Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Katherine Peter Kovner at the Cop Cot in Central Park.

Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare’s wittiest comedies. The show is a hilarious romp about two pairs of lovers who struggle to find love despite the many obstacles that force themselves in their path.

Comfortable shoes and clothing are suggested, as the audience moves with the cast from scene to scene. A blanket or chair is also recommended to sit on. To get to the Cop Cot, enter at Sixth Avenue and Central Park South, veer right at the entrance to the park and then take the next left up the hill. The playing area is just beyond the wooden structure at the top.
