Tuesday February 20th
Featuring Chris Yon, David Bagnall, Alberto Denis and Bryon Carr.

Bryon Carr founded LightCurve Dance and Mixed Media, which debuted at the Cunnigham Studio. He was presented at Joyce SoHo and received a six-month grant from Michael Carson Production and Studios.

Alberto Denis is a company member with Arthur Aviles Typical Theater and Palissimo Dance Theater. He has performed with Dixie Shulman, Alethea Adsitt, Heidi Latsky dance and his choreography has been produced at Danspace Project Food For Thought , DP and BAAD!

Chis Yon, co-founder of Ur, Your Neighborhood Dance Place, has had his work performed at DTW, The Brooklyn Museum, and La MaMa. As a performer he has been seen in Ann Carlson’s Night Light, Karinne Keithley’s Tenderenda, and was a puppeteer for Basil Twist’s Symphonie Fantastique.

Tuesday March 20th
Featuring Will Rawls, Brian Brooks Moving Company, Juan Merchan, Alethea Adsitt & Company

Will Rawls has performed with Tiffany Mills Company, Katie Workum, Leigh Garrett, Shen Wei Dance Arts, and Karrine Keithley, and his work has been presented at Galapagos, PS 122, and the Gershwin Hotel.

The Brian Brooks Moving Company first debuted in 1997 when Brooks self-produced his dances at the Merce Cunningham Studio. The production featured a short film of Brooks dancing at eleven different public places within eight hours; the event caught the attention of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, who funded a second “Performance Marathon,” sending Brooks and his group to the Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central, and the aisles of a deli.

Alethea Adsitt & Company’s core focus is to bring to the fore innovative performance territories, through the union of movement, text and visual design. Initiated from the body’s profound potential for expression, a unique movement language is unearthed.
