M’Dear

In this contemporary retelling of the Medea myth, M’Dear, “Q” shoots an arrow into the heart of the beautiful songstress M’Dear so she’ll find sinless love with JaShaun. But Zotheus, M’Dear’s incestuous brother, ain’t having it. To save JaShaun’s life, M’Dear betrays her brother and her father. M’Dear and JaShaun marry and produce children, but JaShaun betrays M’Dear. JaShaun impregnates another woman and threatens to leave M’Dear to marry the other woman. To teach him the true meaning of love, M’Dear must first teach JaShaun the meaning of the blues. M’Dear murders JaShaun’s father, his pregnant girlfriend and their unborn child. Then, in one “final act of love,” M’Dear murders her own babies.
