Mass Appeal’s theme embodies the collision of ideology and personalities between an older, entrenched priest and a young, scorching seminarian and their struggle to connect with themselves, each other, and the church amidst the landscape of their ecclesiastical environment and an underbelly of emotional scars. The show features new text written by Davis.
