About This Show

Would your wife be more attractive if she were your mistress?
Would your husband love you better if he were your sugar-daddy?

First produced in 1884, Love’s Postman is a frothy, fizzy, passionately cantankerous comedy about desire, wedlock, and love notes. Sydney and Annis Austin are newlyweds, whose marriage was only one of convenience. They soon become quite bored of one another; that is, until each begins (unknowingly) a passionate correspondence with each other.
