kumrads won’t is the intimate, quirky story of a young woman, Ponce (Greene), and a middle-aged veteran, Walter (Payne), who work together at a diner on the road to nowhere. Tonight, Ponce has braved a snowstorm to meet Walter at his crummy apartment. Over shared whiskey, cigarettes, and e.e. cummings, they show us what can happen when two lonely, damaged people make a connection across impossible circumstances.
