Joseph Brodsky: In the Prison of Latitudes (2010) (N.Y. Premiere)

A documentary about Nobel Prize-winning Russian poet and essayist Joseph Brodsky, blending interviews, cityscapes, and audio of Brodsky reciting his own work to create an homage to one of the 20th century’s great literary talents. The screening will be followed by a conversation with the filmmaker and the poet Mark Strand.
