Comic actor/impressionist Jason Grossman performs a live solo adaptation of the classic Frank Capra film in It’s a Wonderful (One Man Show) Life. Directed by Sharon Fogarty, Grossman creates almost every scene in Bedford Falls with minimal set and atmospheric lighting, morphing through everyone from Annie to Zuzu. George Bailey’s compromised dreams of youth, financial ruin, and suicide are explored intimately in this rendition about a do-gooder who wishes he had never been born, then discovers triumphantly the value of his life and beloved community support.
