I Laughed, I Cried: Five Short Plays to Make You Ferklempt

About This Show

The selection of plays, quite eclectic in theme, setting, and tone, became a wonderful opportunity to explore different aspects of Jewish heritage, as these windows opened to different worlds

The plays, by all WorkShop Theater Company playwrights, include: The Good Dairy Land, written by Linda Segal Crawley (Pineapple and Henry); An Interesting Story, written by Eddie Antar (The Navigator, hit play moving to the Main Stage); Synagoguery, written by Michael Lazan (Epidemiology); Telephone Call for Francine Stein, written by Laurie Graff (Love in the Time of Recession, novel The Shiksa Syndrome); and A Walk In His Shoes, written by Timothy Scott Harris (Protected, NYCFringe, coming to the Main Stage). Directors, cast, and crew will feature WorkShop Theater Company talent.
