Hellhound on My Trail

A three-act play by Denis Johnson, Hellhound on My Trail is a comedy about government malfeasance and religious discovery. The first act concerns a young woman about to be terminated from her job as a food inspector at the FDA, and her strange interrogator. Part two takes place in a diner, where the lives of a Washington insider and a nervous young woman collide in an unexpected way. Finally, a drifter and a religious zealot do battle for each other’s souls in a west Texas motel room.
