About the Show

Michael Mack was five years old when his mother was struck by schizophrenia, and his solo show chronicles a complex illness and a family’s spirit to prevail. Desperation, poignancy, tenderness, and delight find equal time in this drama, which took over ten years to complete. Hearing Voices (Speaking in Tongues) is a solo show, written and performed by Michael Mack, and directed by Manny Frenz.

Part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival.
