Orpheus Productions presents an abbreviated, modern-dress version of Hamlet, Shakespeare’s tale of family corruption and moral philosophy. The production is the chronicle of a young philosophy student’s struggle to comprehend and accept his looming death, as told from memory by Horatio — his lone friend and witness to his last days. The cast features 11 alumni of the Atlantic Acting School, under the direction of Anya Saffir.
In addition to the regular schedule, 2:00 PM matinee performances of Hamlet are arranged for Saturdays, September 9 and 16, as well as Sunday, September 10.
