Alan Bennet’s comedy, Habeas Corpus, receives its first New York revival since its Broadway debut 25 years ago. The show concerns the lecherous Dr. Wicksteed, who states, “He whose lust lasts, lasts longest,” thereby unleasing the sexual desires and obsessions of a host of repressed English folks.
