Good Bye, My Lady Love

Lillian Russell, Anna Held, Eva Tanguay and Blanche Ring return to the stage in Good Bye, My Lady Love, a musical valentine to the reigning queens of vaudeville. Between Held’s milk baths and Russell’s diamond-studded corsets, the Broadway musical scene at the turn-of-the-last century was a combination of talent, excess and genuine good fun. Sally Sherwood, accompanied by Woody Regan, shares the great songs (“In the Good Old Summer Time,” “I Don’t Care,” “Give My Regards to Broadway,” and more), flamboyant costumes, and backstage gossip that swept imaginations of American theater audiences from the Bowery to Broadway.
