Fully Manicured Raw Spots

Wendy Blum’s new piece, Fully Manicured Raw Spots (I hold on tight when you spin me fast and your hands are slippery with sweat) features Wendy Blum, Erin Reck, Jennifer Wright Cook, Despina Stamos and Storme Sundberg.

In Fully Manicured Raw Spots, performers twist and tussle to maintain equilibrium amidst evocative sounds and scents of popcorn, garlic and onions (being cooked onstaged). Wendy Blum’s choreography has been presented at Danspace Project, PS 122, Movement Research, The Yard, The Painted Bridge, Wesleyan University and Toronto’s Buddies in Bad Times Theater.
