About This Show

Hourglass Group presents readings of seven new plays in the Flirting with the Edge Festival, featuring adventurous new works that explore subjects ranging from the last days of sci-fi author Philip K. Dick to the impact that collecting African-American memorobilia makes on an NFL star to Hedy Lamarr’s little-known contribution to wireless technology. All the plays deal with characters facing a world in which the fantastic and real are increasingly difficult to distinguish.
