Flamenco in the Boros: A Tour of New York City

Intense speed, sensual partnering, and stiletto movement are the trademarks of the nationally recognized Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana Company, presenting its third annual Tour of the Boros. Featuring dancers and musicians from the US and Spain, the Company will perform at venues throughout the five boroughs of New York City. All performances are free (except for the fundraiser) and all events are open to the public. Founded in 1983, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana is a flourishing Spanish dance company known for its innovative performance works, extensive domestic touring and high quality arts education programs. The company’s mission is to: foster the recognition of Flamenco as an integral part of the Hispanic heritage; to create quality dance and arts programs; to enhance education, and to nurture the next generation of Spanish dance artists and educators. Throughout its 28-year history, Flamenco Vivo has maintained its status as the leading Flamenco Company in the Nation.
