New York City
Fifty Million Frenchmen
$40.00-$60.00
Fifty Million Frenchmen follows a group of well-to-do Americans unleashed in Paris and looking for excitement. A hilarious satire of American’s abroad, Fifty Million Frenchmen is a spectacularly fun evening, featuring a jazzy Cole Porter score that includes the songs “You Do Something to Me,” “You’ve Got That Thing,” “Find Me a Primitive Man” and “The Tale of the Oyster.”
The original Broadway version of Fifty Million Frenchmen has not been seen in NYC since its 1929 run at the Lyceum Theater. Writing for the New York Times, critic Brooks Atkinson called the original Broadway production, “brisk, crack-brained, smartly accoutred and modishly salacious!”
