About This Show

Eve Ensler discusses her most recent play The Good Body, which opens on Broadway at the Booth Theater in November (Previews begin October 22). Focusing on women’s thoughts about everything from Botox injections to living beneath burkhas, this play explores how women of all cultures hide, transform, and deny their bodies in order to make them “good.” Ensler is the author of the Obie Award-winning play The Vagina Monologues, based on Ensler’s interviews with more than 200 women. As a result of these conversations, she initiated V-Day, a movement to stop violence against women.
