Emission

Emission is set in Albany, NY, the capital city of New York state, in the halls of power with a close-up on 3 dominant women: Svetlana, an environmental scientist and inventor of a one of a kind antidote to ignorance; Amy, a Legislative Aid to a State Senator determined to push through a historic piece of legislation; and Heather, a powerful lobbyist hell bent on getting everything she wants. Two of the women believe this legislation could save the world. This action is opposed by influential interests and this trio and their relationships are threatened. What’s at stake goes well beyond a piece of NY State legislation, the first of its kind in the nation, as it could become a domino for the preservation of the environment for future generations. With passage of this legislation teetering, will everything go up in smoke?
