Conceived and directed by Steve Lawson, Edgar August interweaves the works of two of literature’s most exotic personalities, Edgar Allen Poe and August Strindberg. For a time, Strindberg imagined himself to be Poe’s reincarnation, and in this imagined rendezvous the creator of horror fiction confronts the alchemist of modern drama.
