Patrica Burke Brogan’s new play explores sin and forgiveness through the true story of the Irish Magdalene Laundries, in which unwed mothers were sentenced by the church to labor and attone for their sin. The babies were also taken from their mothers and put up for adoption. This shocking and heartbreaking story is directed by Charlotte Moore.
