Draupadi

Draupadi is a new Kathkali Dance Opera conceived and directed by Ellen Stewart, performed by leading Kathkali dancers from India, members of the Great Jones Repertory, and others. Conceived and directed by Ellen Stewart, the piece depicts a classical Sanskrit story of a princess who was married to five brothers, and their constant wars.
