About the Show

Written by John Patrick Shanley and winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play, Doubt: A Parable is a swirl of accusation and intrigue. This fascinating, lean drama will be presented as the Heights Players February production. At a catholic school, a Priest’s actions to protect a boy come under suspicion of sexual impropriety from the head nun. She acts swiftly to address the situation and will stop at nothing as she seeks to remove him. Yet the facts remain unclear even as matters rapidly come to a head. Was there actual impropriety or has suspicion created the illusion of certainty? What will the nun do, when she is not sure?
