About This Show

Dirty Work is a tawdry, elaborately low-tech hallucination on themes of age, regret, and the art of performance. Characters composited from Bergman’s Summer Interlude, Chekhov’s Swansong, and Tony Richardson’s The Entertainer inhabit a stage environment of carefully crafted visual poetry.
