The Stage Door Acting Ensemble of New York presents their inaugural premiere with Tom Patrick’s, Descent: A Darwinian Comedy. This is the story of men in their forties who must begin their careers anew in a climate of corporate down-sizing. Today’s world of mergers, acquisitions and IPO’s helped create Patrick’s darkly comic look at the Darwinian implications of his ever-changing climate. The play reveals corporate life as a battle for survival, where ruthless men thrive while the slower members of the herd are left behind.
