Danny Zaccagino’s Condemned in the Classroom

Condemned in the Classroom is based on a true story. For the span of a year, artist Danny Zaccagino conducted a series of interviews with gay youth, adults, and teachers concerning their experiences and views about being gay in the American Public School system. He used these interviews to create an honest and powerful performance piece.
