Dan Zanes and Friends – Catch That Train!

When former Del Fuegos front man and his wife had a baby, Dan Zanes began recording the kind of family music that he heard in his head but couldn’t find in the stores. This handmade, all-ages, twenty-first century folk sound has gone from neighborhood entertainment to a national sensation. There have been seven CD releases, with guests including Sheryl Crow, Philip Glass, Lou Reed, Natalie Merchant, Suzanne Vega and Debbie Harry; a 2004 Grammy nomination; and a new band touring across the country. Dan Zanes and Friends now make their New Victory debut with his new album Catch That Train! On Dan’s train there is music being made in every car, sometimes quiet, sometimes rowdy, familiar, funny or groovy.
