Da Beat Trap is an original celebration of rhythm, dance, and the spirit of women. Set in a nightclub and spanning five decades, this one woman show explores the emotional journey of five women as they search for their identity, purpose…and their defining beat. Written and performed by France Luce-Benson. Directed by Gregor Manns.
Other plays written by France Luce-Benson have been produced at the Ensemble Studio Theatre. She was also the Resident Playwright for the Negro Ensemble Company, NEC (1999-2001).
