Chasing Light: A New Myth

Inspired by the legend of the New York Mole People, Chasing Light is the story of a young girl named Freckles, born into the dark depths of New York City’s abandoned subway tunnels. After fifteen years, she wakes up to find that her mother has disappeared. Alone for the very first time, she leaves the only world she’s ever known to embark on an epic journey toward the surface in search of her mother. Told through devised movement, song, and lyric choral text, Chasing Light is a new myth inspired by light and the world just beneath our feet.
