About This Show

A tale of art and artists, inspiration and faith, The Bonfire of the Vanities and a Haiku-spouting parrot, Burning Botticelli interweaves three worlds – the mythical Navajo world in the Arizona desert, the classical Renaissance world in Florence, and the post-modern art world in contemporary New York – and explores the identities of three artists as they grapple with their public and the force of their own inspiration.
