About This Show

Audax Theater Group presents Brando, a new, dark comedy by Daniel Roberts, directed by Hilary Adams.

Having just returned from their honeymoon, a tense and sexually disastrous
safari in Africa, Butler and Laurel find themselves the recipient of a
strange wedding gift – a post-modern sculpture in the form of a working
telephone. When the phone rings, it is Marlon Brando, dark and brooding,
calling from his seaside lair. After many conversations with the
charismatic if depraved Brando, Laurel disappears. Butler ultimately
becomes convinced that the aging film icon has kidnapped his wife, and he
must find the courage to seek out Marlon Brando, confront him, and rescue
his wife.
