About This Show

Set in Belfast, Ireland in 1991, Bold Girls chronicles the lives of three working class women. They may be ordinary by Belfast standards, but with constant fear of political agression and the loss of their husbands to war and prison, they are extraordinary by anybody else’s. Runa Munro’s play was a joint winner of a Susan Smith Blackburn Award for best play by a woman in the English language, and receives its New York premiere from the Women’s Expressive Theatre. Hayley Finn directs.

The Saturday, April 7th show is at 2 p.m.
