Ben Munisteri Dance Projects

Tearing into their twelfth year, Ben Munisteri Dance Projects presents the New York premiere of Terra Nova, with an animated décor that uses motion capture technology. Always a fresh source of musicality, dynamism and evocation, BMDP reprises last season’s Tuesday, 4 a.m. Praised by the New York Times for inventiveness and precision, a BMDP concert serves up "a potpourri of movement by a master of the eclectic." The program also features a reprise of 1999’s Smash Through to Sunlight, which Munisteri made collaboratively with Bessie Award-winning lighting designer Kathy Kaufmann.
