The Performing Garage Visiting Artist Series and DTW Around Town present an encore engagement of Big Dance Theater’s critically acclaimed production of Annie B. Parson and Paul Lazar’s Another Telepathic Thing. This raucous meditation on life, death, and money features an angel named Satan who materializes in a bizarre and bewildering Hollywood casting studio to tell Mark Twain’s famous and bitter story, “The Mysterious Stranger.” Blending Twain’s words with authentic, illicit audiotapes from movie auditions, the piece crosses the poetic and ironic to create a tale of simultaneous falsity and truth.
