Basement Flat Productions brings Shakespeare’s ALL’S WELL THAT ENDS WELL to HERE for four weeks beginning February 4th. At the opening, Helena takes her medical skills to the court of the ailing King of France. Succeeding where others have failed she exacts her payment: the hand of Bertram, the self-obsessed Count of Rosillion. When he resists she is left to find a way to beat him at his own game. Director Andrew Grosso stages this comic tale of unrequited love using ten actors, twelve chairs and a jazz piano and strikes a balance between wistful romantic fairy tale and irony laden comedic romp. -vn
