Ah, My Dear Andersen

Urban Stages presents Ah, My Dear Andersen, adapted and directed by Aleksey Burago from four of Hans Christian Andersen’s stories.
Four tales are used: “Nightingale”, “The Ugly Duckling”, “The Fir Tree”, and “Sweethearts”. Performed by a cast of four, this charming fantasy features original music, a kaleidoscope of costumes, puppets, and
visual effects – guaranteed to enchant and inspire children and adults
alike. Russian director Aleksey Burago, who trained at the Moscow Art
Theater, has put together an imaginative production that is sure to please
New York audiences this holiday season.
