A Tandem of One-Acts

A Tandem of One-Acts is comprised of The Tanning Salon and Down the Loft. In The Tanning Salon, each person who comes in is looking to fulfill a dream, and to realize his/her fullest potential, all hoping to advance successfully in life. A tanner believes that he is gaining supernatural powers through his tanning session and a female employee of the salon is competing for the Mr. USA title. In Down the Loft, a girl’s search for a roof over her head leads her to collaborate with her prospective roommate to entertain the landlord who does not accept monetary payments. She finds herself acting, singing, and improvising plays to please the landlord who wants more than song and dance.
