A Night of One Acts: The Exhibition and Flowers for Algernon

About the Show

Act I
The Exhibition by Thomas Gibbons
Unlike the current and known productions of The Elephant Man, The
Exhibition takes a more personal look at the relationship between Sir
Frederick Treves and his most famous patient, The Elephant Man “John”
Merrick. This unique production is based on Sir Frederick Treves personal
journal. Tormented by his inner psyche, Treves asks the question, did he
really help Merrick or continue to put him on exhibition?

Act II
Flowers for Algernon
by David Rogers
In 1966, author Daniel Keyes published the controversial novel Flowers
for Algernon. In this one act adaptation, audiences follow Charlie Gordon, a 32 year old intellectually disabled man, the first human test subject for a surgery designed to boost his intelligence.
