About This Show

Boomerang Theatre Company presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream, by William Shakespeare, directed by Philip Emeott. The tale begins when Egeus, a somewhat square sort of guy, orders his gorgeous daughter Hermia to marry Demetrius. While Demetrius has no problem with that, Hermia being a beautiful chick and all, Herma also happens to be in love with this dude Lysander, and not even a directive from the Duke, the good-looking chief executive of the metropolis of Athens, happily preparing his own wedding, can change her mind. Hermia and Lysander decide to spilt from the city, but are followed by Demetrius and Helena (Helena being Demetrius’ previous lady before he began putting the moves on Hermia).
