The Ontological Theater presents the 7 Minute Series, a two-week festival of original performance pieces. Each of the seven pieces is seven minutes or less, with a line-up that includes:
Loula Meets Charlie – Charlie Rose has the interview of a lifetime with mysterious old-time movie queen Loula Nasaroff, if she decides to show up
A Brief History of Ninjas as Understood by Robert – Robert can’t stop thinking about ninjas
Blue Puppies – an afternoon goes horribly wrong as Rudolph the Talking Dog stands up to face the menance of modern society: the salesman
Nth Life – a new play by Jim Strahs, performed by Scott Sherratt
350 Vibrations – an investigation of the possibilities of a “graphic dramaturgy” where the dialogue between actor and director rests on the relationship between letter, shape, and line
Slappy Joe’s Wiener Box – drawn from the text of T.S. Eliot’s poem, this piece is an unmitigated love song that is more of a plea than a monologue
Bubbles – this light-hearted piece allows audiences to blow bubbles, play with a parachute, and/or sit and watch it all happen
