About the Show
The Jane Street Theatre will be the home for Obie Award winner Eric Bogosian’s latest New York solo piece, Wake Up and Smell the Coffee. This production will be a follow-up to his award-winning shows Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll and Pounding Nails In the Floor With My Forehead. Bogosian in a series of monologues and characters speed-raps on everything from Jesus to celebrity to new-age spirituality to the pleasures and perils of air travel. To quote the author, it’s a show about how we’re all “running to wait and waiting to run”.
