The Screwtape Letters

The Screwtape Letters follows the amusing and sardonic twists and turns of Screwtape, a senior demon as he advises a junior tempter on how to “undermine faith and prevent the formation of virtues in the life of a human who has converted to Christianity.” Penned with the help of his secretary Toadpipe, Screwtape carries on a correspondence with the junior devil brimming with instructional gems on how to play into human weakness in order to sway a soul.
