It’s more than what you remember. It’s the War of the Families Partridge and Brady in a comedy mash-up of a dozen Shakespeare plays set in the 1970s and featuring the two classic TV families. They sing and dance in this stage sitcom musical parody, and also kill each other in acts of jealousy, vengeance and rage. The Bardy Bunch features 15 hit songs made famous on “The Partridge Family” and “The Brady Bunch,” including “I Think I Love You,” “It’s a Sunshine Day” and “I Woke Up in Love This Morning.”
And here is a trivia fact for you–the show opens in March 2014, 40 years after both “The Brady Bunch” and “The Partridge Family” were cancelled. The original production of The Bardy Bunch premiered in the 2011 New York International Fringe Festival where it received the award for Outstanding Ensemble.
