Soccer Moms From Hell, Richard Cummings’ truly multicultural comedy, is an assault on the superficial and hypocritical values of capitalism and social snobbery amongst the American elite.
Civil rights, anti-war and environmental activist Richard Cummings has lived and taught in Ethiopia and Barbados, speaking, writing and organizing against the New World Order. His absurdist farce, Play On Words, Or The War Will Be Over Soon, was performed by Edward Albee’s legendary Playwrights Unit, with John Lithgow directing. His revisionist biography of Allard Lowenstein, The Pied Piper, first published by Grove Press, deconstructed American liberalism, exposing its fault lines as a defender of the national security state.
