Pullman Car Hiawatha and The Happy Journey to Trenton and Camden

About the Show

An evening of Thornton WIlder one-acts performed by the Keen Company for a limited engagement at the Conelly Theater.

Thornton WIlder’s 28-character, one-act epic, Pullman Car Hiawatha, depicts a startling moment inside an overnight train traveling from New York to Chicago on December 21, 1930. With its kaleidoscopic shifts in scale, Wilder masterfully explores the connection between the commonplace and the cosmic.
The Happy Journey to Trenton and Camden follows a lower-middle class family in Depression era America as they travel by car to visit their oldest daughter.

Note: There are no performances Independence Day weekend.
